Overblown rhetoric to achieve a book that could have easily been a magazine article with a somewhat useful quiz. So clearly in it for the money that it damages the message.

Bought this book after hearing the author speak at a book fair, thinking I would give it to my married daughter. Instead, I used the information to mend a friendship that had gone awry. The technique worked so well, I wonder if I could have avoided my divorce with these insights.

Different techniques to what you expect a marriage self-help book to be. Excellent, clearly written and makes sense – we talk our spouses to death.Creates a shift in perspective – it’s about me and my behavior, not about my spouse(unless your spouse is abusive).

I like the way the book is laid out and written. It’s easy to follow and the exercises are easy to practice on your own. I read half of it in one sitting without even trying to.

I came across this book while looking for books on divorce in the library. I wish I would have found this before my spouse left me. We both are guilty of “stage 2″ and not balancing our lives. I’ve tried a few of these on my own before but the results didn’t stick. I wasn’t aware of the depth to the concepts.

This should be a gift to every newlywed couple.
